Challenge:
To create the cover artwork for a new song called "Creepin n' Cheatin for Corvina. The primary objectives include ensuring that the artwork resonates with the essence of the song and captures its energy.
Solution:
In the process of creating the artwork, I requested Corvina to share the song for me to listen to. As I immersed myself in the music, I noted down my primary emotions triggered by the song: Repetition, nostalgia, and a sense of falling. Subsequently, I consulted with the client to ensure we were aligned in this direction. With the client's approval, I clarified the target age group (25-35), allowing me to explore elements associated with nostalgia for that demographic. In my research, I stumbled upon Kaleidoscopes, and I instantly felt that they were a perfect match for the artistic direction.
