Challenge:
Create a cookbook with a design and layout that pays tribute to recipes spanning the globe, for World Culture Day 2023.
Solution:
In conceptualising this project, the primary objective was to craft a document that retained its connection to the ISS Brand while introducing a more tailored and less corporate aesthetic. To achieve this, I opted for a serif font instead of adhering to the typical sans-serif style associated with corporate branding. In addition, I chose a black and white photograph to distinguish it from the ISS Sand brand colour which then allows the cook book title to stand out as the only ISS blue on the cover.
