Challenge:
Design a logo and app icon for an innovative app named Quotake. This application allows users to store quotes from their favourite books or studies, facilitating easy retrieval when needed.
Solution:
In the process of designing, the client provided design references from logos they admired, suggesting potential directions. Utilising this input, I curated a color palette and conceptualised various logo and icon options. Exploring ideas such as combining the letters Q and T to form a magnifying glass or incorporating a speech bubble to align with the app's name, Quotake, I presented these choices. The client expressed a preference for the magnifying glass, and I subsequently refined and polished that particular direction.
